About Safari AI
Safari AI is a Physical AI company delivering Vision AI, Crowd Intelligence, and Spatial Intelligence to physical operations. Our Agentic AI platform uses your existing cameras to help enterprises measure, alert, and act in real time, with no new staff or infrastructure required. Safari AI serves theme parks, stadiums, ski resorts, retail, QSRs, commercial real estate, and more.
Physical AI is artificial intelligence that operates in and responds to the physical world. Safari AI's Physical AI platform ingests live video from your physical space, understands what's happening in real time, and triggers actions (including alerts, recommendations, and staff routing) based on what it sees.
Vision AI is software's ability to interpret what is happening in the physical world through camera feeds. Safari AI's Vision AI engine analyzes existing camera footage in real time to measure crowd flow, queue wait times, occupancy, throughput, staff engagement, and more, with 95%+ accuracy, 24/7/365.
Crowd Intelligence is Safari AI's core capability: understanding how people move, interact, and influence operations inside a physical space in real time. Our Crowd Intelligence engine gives operators a live, continuous view of activity across their entire venue or facility, with no manual counts or lagging reports required.
Spatial Intelligence is Safari AI's ability to understand how people use physical space, including where they go, how long they stay, where they cluster, and where bottlenecks form. This powers heatmapping, guest journey tracing, occupancy monitoring, and dwell time analysis.
Agentic AI is AI that doesn't just analyze, it acts. Safari AI's Agentic AI layer automatically generates recommendations, triggers real-time alerts when thresholds are exceeded, and routes teams dynamically based on live crowd conditions. Every recommendation is grounded in your own SOPs.
Traditional people-counting tools deliver delayed reports that require manual interpretation. Safari AI measures, alerts, and acts in real time, pushing live crowd data, automated recommendations, and threshold-based alerts directly to your staff and systems, 24/7/365, using your existing cameras.

Deployment & Setup
No. Safari AI connects to your existing camera infrastructure via an on-premise edge server that connects to your camera network, typically through your existing router or VLAN. No new cabling, trenching, or camera replacement required.
Safari AI provides a "White Glove" service that project manages end-to-end camera procurement, installation, and connectivity using a network of licensed and insured contractors throughout the world.
Safari AI integrates with virtually any off-the-shelf network IP camera supporting Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), preferably with ONVIF compatibility, covering the vast majority of IP cameras on the market. Most operations can go live without replacing a single camera.
Safari AI is designed for fast, low-friction deployment using your existing cameras. An on-premise edge server connects to your camera network, and most clients are live within weeks following site survey, model calibration, and QA validation. As a recent benchmark, LEGOLAND Japan brought all hardware-ready rides into production within a month (the majority within three weeks) of the first camera coming online.
Hardware sales are not Safari AI's primary business, but Safari AI maintains relationships with leading global camera and computing brands and can facilitate purchases, typically at significant discounts.
Data, Accuracy & Integrations
Safari AI's Vision AI engine delivers 95%+ accuracy across all measurements, validated by QA reports built from ground truth data. An embedded Ground Truth QA tool within the dashboard lets customers continuously validate model results.
Safari AI provides a web-based customer portal where Crowd Intelligence and Spatial Intelligence data is visualized in real time, and can also flow directly into your enterprise systems via API integration.
Yes. Safari AI offers personalized API integrations into most modern systems so Crowd Intelligence and Spatial Intelligence data can flow directly into dashboards, BI tools, or operational platforms.
Yes. Alert and measurement data can be pushed to Microsoft Power BI, your app, or any endpoint of your choice. Safari AI partners with AWS, Microsoft, and NVIDIA to ensure seamless integration into your existing tech stack.
Safari AI's Agentic AI alert engine monitors your operation in real time and sends notifications the moment conditions exceed your defined thresholds. Alerts are delivered via email, text, robocall, your app, Microsoft Power BI, or API, wherever your team operates.
Security & Privacy
Yes. Safari AI provides end-to-end encryption for all data it processes, using industry-leading encryption standards. Video is processed on-premise on Safari AI's edge server, and only the resulting metadata (counts, wait times, occupancy, etc.) is sent to the cloud to generate business metrics. A limited set of encrypted images and video clips may be transmitted through Safari AI's VPN to a secure external database for ongoing computer vision model development and accuracy improvement. Safari AI is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and audited annually.
Live video is processed on-premise on Safari AI's edge server, and only metadata (such as counts, wait times, and occupancy figures) is transmitted to the cloud for business metrics. A limited set of encrypted images and clips may be retained in Safari AI's secure external database to support computer vision model development and accuracy validation. All such data is encrypted in transit through Safari AI's VPN and protected under our SOC 2 Type 2 controls.
Yes. Safari AI is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and undergoes annual third-party security audits, a requirement of its deployments with Fortune 500 companies.
How Safari AI Compares to Competitors
WaitTime measures crowd density, queue lengths, and wait times, primarily for sports and entertainment venues. Safari AI does all of that, and more.
- Agentic AI: Safari AI automatically generates staff recommendations and triggers SOP-grounded alerts. WaitTime surfaces data for operators to interpret themselves.
- Broader industry coverage: Safari AI serves ski resorts, QSRs, retail, commercial real estate, government agencies, and more.
- More measurements: Vehicle counts, license plate recognition, staff engagement tracking, and guest journey tracing on top of standard crowd metrics.
Density is a workplace occupancy platform built around proprietary radar sensors, designed primarily for offices and corporate real estate. Safari AI is built for high-volume physical operations like theme parks, stadiums, and large retail environments.
- No new hardware: Safari AI uses your existing cameras. Density requires its own proprietary sensors, adding cost and installation complexity.
- Broader measurement: Safari AI tracks queue dynamics, vehicle traffic, dwell time, staff dispatch, and more, not just occupancy.
- Real-time action: Safari AI's Agentic AI layer pushes alerts and recommendations automatically. Density is primarily a reporting tool.
CrowdVision is a pedestrian analytics platform focused on airports and transportation hubs, often requiring specific infrastructure like Verizon 5G Edge connectivity. Safari AI works with virtually any existing IP camera and internet connection.
- Easier deployment: No specialized network infrastructure required. If you have IP cameras and an internet connection, you can run Safari AI.
- Agentic AI, not just analytics: CrowdVision measures and reports. Safari AI measures, alerts, and acts, automatically, in real time.
- Wider venue applicability: Safari AI is purpose-built for a much broader range of physical operations beyond airports and transit hubs.
Most crowd analytics platforms are fundamentally reporting tools. They collect data, surface it in a dashboard, and leave operators to decide what to do next. Safari AI completes the full loop:
- Measure: 95%+ accurate Vision AI across your entire operation, 24/7/365
- Alert: Real-time notifications the moment thresholds are exceeded
- Act: Automated recommendations grounded in your own SOPs, pushed directly to your staff
